One Power !!

There is much talk and sharing these days about how that ‘God is All’. And I very much agree with that statement but for me, and where I stand in my present understanding and development, I believe it begs a little more defining lest we attribute to God acts that are not in his nature.

Lets look at the ‘Love chapter’, 1 Cor. 13 again to remind us what Love is and does or what God is or what He does if God is Love.

1. Love [GOD] endures long and is patient and kind.
2. Love [GOD] never is envious nor boils over with jealousy. Is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
3. Love [GOD] is not conceited – arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly.
4. Love [GOD] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking.
5. Love [GOD] is not touchy or fretful or resentful: it takes no account of the evil done to it – pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
6. Love [GOD] does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7. Love [GOD] bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything [without weakening].
8. Love [GOD] never fails – never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end."

"And so faith, hope and love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love. Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire this love (THIS GOD) and make it your aim, your great quest…"

"But if God is All then what of the great inhumanities that are committed in this world?
Does God kidnap, torture and rape and murder a little 10 year old girl or boy?
Does he pour gasoline on his wife he no longer wants and set her afire like they do in India – called the bride burnings?
Does God abandon his family and leave them to fend for themselves in this world?
Does God strap explosives to himself and blow up innocent men, women and children?
Is God a despot that holds millions of people in a country in bondage and servitude to his self-serving whims?

Well, I’m sure none of us would want to attribute these kind of acts and untold millions more like them to the God we know. But they ALL WERE COMMITTED BY THE ONE POWER, THE ONLY POWER THERE IS, GOD!!

But, how you say, can LOVE do such things? We have shared this before and may be already a familiar fact with you, but the word “evil” is the word “live” spelled backwards. The Bible speaks of this “untoward generation”. If you are “untoward” something, you are “backwards” to it. When man lives backwards to the truth of LOVE or GOD, he fulfills that power in its negative instead of its positive, which is love. It still is the One Power, but applied negatively. And that is why evil seems so exceedingly evil. It is an unholy anointing. Instead of being a loving Creator, he is an unloving mis-creator. Or as we have borne the image of the earthly, the mis-creator, we shall bear the image of the heavenly, the Loving Creator. And the only thing that Love can create or do is what chapter 13 of Corinthians lists.

And what, to me, is so wonderful is that this is not just things that we do, but what we truly have become. This is what it means to me of laying down the gift realm or just “having gifts” to become the Gift. For anything that you just ‘have’, can be something that you lose or no longer ‘have’. But when you become something, you are IT. So are all things God? It is an enigma and the answer is “Yes, and No”. You can use your God Power for good or evil. For life or death. God said, "Six days shall you labor, but the seventh was His."

Man has had the opportunity these past six days to choose to labor with his God power and when he did it in an unenlightened state, it created the chaos of war, prejudice and hate that is so prevalent, but it was so that he would have an experiential knowledge of good and evil and could look into the mirror or this outer realm of his creation and behold what was in his inner self. This causes us to begin to ask "Is there a better way? This is not working." We learn that we can become mature gods having our senses exercised to know the difference and to turn from death to life.

And,yes, we know that "all things work together for good to those called according to his purpose." We are not trying to negate the sovereignty of God in our lives or in other words, the script that we agreed to take on in this life as our learning experience, but we are trying to show that as a god who awakens within this script, we then become the now conscious writer, director and actor of a more heavenly script where love, joy and peace reigns supreme.

Much love,
Karen
