Yehoshua

"Hebrew - Yehoshua translates as "YHVH is salvation"
or
"He who is (or will be) saves"
Yeshua is a masculine noun that means:
"He is salvation" or "He saves".

The Greek "Iesous" is pronounced: Ee - ay - sooce or Yaysoos.

The Greek Iesous then got tranliterated into Latin as "Iesu[s], and then into Old English as Jesus, but initally the "J" was at that time, still pronounced like the German J, which was pronounced with more of a "Y" sound.  This is the way that it still is spoken in Germany today.  Over time the J sound eventually began to harden into sounding more like the French J which is where the Modern English orginated from.  The end  result is the current English pronounciation of Jesus.

There is no Yahshua to be found anywhere in Hebrew scriptures.
It is Yeshua or Yehoshua."
