Jesus' In-part Ministry

Hebrews 4:7-9
"Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest,] saying through David after so long a time, in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice, and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts. Psa. 95:7,8

This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan], for if Joshua had given them rest, He (God) would not speak afterward about another day. So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete Sabbath rest reserved for the [true] people of God."

We know that the name 'Joshua' is the equivilent of Yahshua or Jesus in the NT. So the implication is that Joshua of the OT as a type of Jesus in the New, did not bring in the full Sabbath Day Rest for he was merely forshadowing the Greater Rest or the Fullness of the Rest of God. So Jesus, in his earthly ministry alone, did not bring in the fullness of the Sabbath Day of Rest, although everything he did spoke prophetically of it. And let me stress that again - IN HIS EARTHLY MINISTRY, because he said he was going to find His greater glory in and through His people.

And also Jesus would have to make his change from mortal to immortality to effect a breakthrough for all. His greater works would be accomplished from the realms of spirit (within) for he would not remain as the 'one seed' but would multiply himself to become the 'harvest' of that seed.

John 17
The Given Sons

John 17:2, Jesus prays:
"Just as You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all human kind) now glorify Him, so that He (the Son) may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him.

I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do. And now, Father, glorify Me with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.

I have manifested Your name – I have revealed Your very Self, Your real Self to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your Word. Now they know and understand that all You have given Me belongs to You – is really and truly Yours.

I am praying for them, I am not praying for the world; but for those You have given me, for they belong to You. All Mine are Yours, and all that are Yours belong to Me; AND I AM GLORIFIED IN (through) THEM – THEY HAVE DONE ME HONOR, IN THEM MY GLORY IS ACHIEVED.

I have given them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united that the world may know and recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me."

[Jesus the man was glorified or magnified into a ‘Christ’ capacity. (Jesus was made both Christ and Lord) As the Christ anointing he could find his greater glory by becoming One with and in his ‘given ones’, his elect.]

As Jesus Christ he would have remained merely the seed of Life, but as
Christ Jesus he could expand into the full harvest.

"And[now] I am no more in the world, but these are in the world and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in your name them that you have given Me, that they may be one, as We [are one]. Just as You have sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. John 6:37-39

All whom My Father has given to Me will come to Me…And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me; but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day."

Jesus was made both Lord and Christ in his glorification, which enabled him to anoint ‘his given ones’ on the Day of Pentecost with the long awaited promise.

Acts 2:32-36
“This Jesus God raised up…and having received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, He has made this outpouring which you yourselves both see and hear. Therefore let the whole house of Israel recognize beyond all doubt and acknowledge assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, the Messiah, this Jesus Whom you crucified.”

But as we have partaken of this promised blessing and Pentecostal outpouring , it was just our foretaste of ‘glory divine’…..it was the implantation of our “hope” of being glorified – “Christ in us, our hope of glory.”….our hope of the same kind of glory that Jesus was glorified with.

“And every man that has this hope purifies himself just as He is pure.”

Jesus was not going to reproduce himself in his humanity, but from his position of glorification as Christ and Lord, seated at the right hand of his Father, which speaks of his position of authority, he poured out the promised Holy Spirit.

Christ = his anointing or equality with the Father

&

Lord = one who rules a kingdom or has supreme Lordship or authority

This is the Glory that we have been anointed with!!
Throne-room glory!
Right-Hand-Of-the-Father glory!
That-they-may-be-One-even-as-we-are-One glory!
We have been seeded with this kind of Life!

John 7:37-39
"Now on the final and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood forth and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me – who cleaves to and trust in and relies on Me – as the scripture has said, Out from his innermost being springs and rivers of living water shall flow (continuously). But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed – trusted, had faith – in Him were afterward to receive. For the (Holy) Spirit had not yet been given; because Jesus was not yet glorified."

Jesus did not baptize Himself into his people until he had resurrected and ascended and glorified, nor would he allow Mary to touch him after his resurrection because he would not allow himself to be held or known in a purely human capacity any longer.

All those whom Jesus healed as an anointed man while here in the flesh, most likely, got sick again or died of something else later. Even Lazarus and the others mentioned in the scriptures. Even though resurrected from the dead, were not given immortal life in their resurrections either.

All the crowds who were supernaturally fed the loaves and fishes, as wonderful as it was, got hungry again a few hours later.

These acts were only his in-part ministry as a man annointed of God.

Jesus had to “die” to that anointing or to that “glory” to take on the greater glory, of which, all those healings and resurrections were only pointing to. As a man anointed of God, (Jesus Christ) he could only be with the people as one man, but as Christ Jesus he could Be The Anointing and be in all men.

Jesus’ Acts on the Sabbath

Jesus healings and ministry to the many different women speaks of the healing and restoration of the soul. The healing of the mind, will, emotions, and desires. And it also speaks of the healing of the church, the woman in this coming age.

Jesus' calling forth of the disciples speaks of the assembling of our inner selves together. For example: John speaks of love, Peter of faith, James of hope, Andrew of strength, Philip of power, etc. These faculties brought together and functioning in balance within us makes for a sure foundation that can be built upon.

Jesus performed many acts on the Sabbath, which annoyed the Pharisees. All these things that he did on that day, prophetically spoke of the kinds of ministry that we will see in this Sabbath Day of Lord.

Cripples were healed on the Sabbath – those who have been unable to walk out the truths of God, will be touched by the Anointed Ones and they will take up their beds and walk in this new day.

The man born blind will be healed – mankind blinded by religion, intellectualism, or any other darkness will find deliverance.

Jesus taught in the synagogues on the Sabbath – religion has despised and persecuted the son born of promise for the past six days, but not in this 7th day – many will welcome him and find fresh manna for their soul. The Sons of Glory will teach in the places that once despised them.

Jesus opened The Book (Isaiah) in the synagogue and read. For those who think the Book is an outdated old-fashioned thing, the Enchristed ones will take the Book out of the hands of religion and teach from a place of light and truth.

Jesus and his disciples went into the cornfields and began to pluck corn on the Sabbath. Praise God! It was harvest time, the harvest was ripe….there were full ears on the stalk. This 7th day harvest will touch every nation, every state, every province, every village, and the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea!

The man with the withered hand was healed on the Sabbath – the withered 5-fold hand ministry will be healed and opened to new truth and become a ministry unto the house. (Ezekiel 44)

The miracle resurrections of the dead that Jesus performed are rather self-explanatory – they speak of mankind being made alive in God.

Jesus whole life was teaching us our path and our destiny in God. His glorification becomes ours as "he comes to be glorified in his saints" for we are joint heirs or equal heirs with him. And Jesus' in-part ministry will find its complete fulfillment and greater glory in His people. \o/
