Mitochondrial DNA of Jesus

Concerning the DNA of Jesus - Heb. 2:14 Since, therefore, (these His) children share in flesh and blood- that is, in the physical nature of human beings - He (Himself) in a similar manner partook of the SAME....
and verse 17 -So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren IN EVERY RESPECT, in order that He might become a merciful High Priest...."

I am no authority in this subject, but it is my understanding that Jewish lineage is only counted through the maternal side. There is a particular DNA called the mitochondrial DNA that is passed only through the maternal side.

I believe that Jesus was fully human and not a different kind of human or else how could he possibly have been tempted in all points like unto us if he had special humanity. The following is just a little blurb from a technical writing on the DNA that I present for your consideration:

"Inheritance of mitochondrial DNADuring zygote formation, a sperm cell contributes its nuclear genome, but not its mitochondrial genome, to the egg cell. This means that mitochondrial DNA is transferred exclusively from mother to offspring and therefore associated with a maternal inheritance pattern."

"Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; He shall bruise and tread your head under foot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel."

I believe that Jesus is both the offspring of man and represents the Last Adam through the lineage of Mary and is the First Born from among the dead and brought forth the first of the New Species: The New Creation Man, showing his celestial DNA.

The lineage of Joseph, the legal father of Jesus, is shown to us in Matthew and takes you back to King David ( a type of Christ) which I believe speaks to us of Jesus being the Son of God. The lineage of Mary is recorded in Luke 3 which takes you all the way back to Adam which I think speaks to us of him being the Son of Man.
