He Became Us

Hebrews 7:26
For such an high priest became us, holy, harmless, undefiled, separte from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.

The Divine stated his intent in the beginning, "Let us make Man", and since he works all things after the counsel of his will, he has been steadily bringing his intent and counsel to fruition.

"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and the latter rain.

Be ye patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh." James 5

I don't believe that we are becoming God or Spirit....that was already our first estate in the celestials.

I believe that God is becoming Man....not generic man with a little "m", but the New Creation Man, which is the the combination of heaven and earth.

Just like water is the third result of the combining of the two gases (spirits) of hydrogen and oxygen.....something brand new emerges from this union.

It has been said, that the Greeks believed that earth was a springboard to heaven.

But

The Hebrews believed that heaven was a springboard to earth.

"I John saw the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God as a bride adorned for her husband;
Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne..See!
The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp) among them and they shall be his people and God shall personally be their God." Rev. 21
