Ron touched on a word for covering being a mantle, Love's mantle. I like that.
Rememeber Elisha being promised Elijah's mantle - he received a double portion anointing by staying close to Elijah's side and when the heavens opened to receive Elijah, he was blessed with a double portion anointing, the mantle of Elijah which empowered him for even greater things.
Jesus' mantle fell upon the the 120 in the upper room as long as they stayed close (waited together) for his appearing. They received the double portion anointing, the mantle of the Lord, the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is our mantle or covering which Jesus declared would empower us to become the Greater Things People.
