Jesus re-incarnated in 120 vessels on the Day of Pentecost. He who is, who was, and who is to come and is continuing to do so until this day.
He comes as justification in our spirit
He comes as sanctification to our soul
He comes as glorification to our bodies
There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism
but the unfolding of that One is realized
from glory to glory as he is revealed in us.
Me thinks its called growing up into Him in all things.
The Invitation
"He is not here, He is risen",
Said the two messengers in white to the sobbing Mary.
One was seated at His head, the other at His feet
Signifying that where He had lain makes Him to be our mercy seat.
"Why seek you the living among the dead?
For this tomb being empty should not cause you dread.
Behold His burial clothes are lying in a heap
But the kerchief wound about his head is still so very neat."
All this to show that our Head
Has completely conquered death
When He made His resurrection exit,
Leaving behind an example, yes, a pattern so explicit.
Mary, exclaiming to the gardener, she supposed
Said, "I do not know where they have lain Him,
Please tell me, Sir,
So we can give His body proper repose."
"Mary", her name He uttered as only her Lord could
"Master", she replied in recognition as her heart now understood.
"Do not now touch Me, for I must first ascend."
Showing us that if ever you would touch Him
It must be by spirit and never that flesh again.
If ever you would see Jesus
You'll have to look beyond the form
For He may appear
As any man, woman, or child ever born.
He continues to say,
"I must ascend to my Father, and your Father,
To my God and your God."
Showing us ever more clearly this 'Way'.
So, back into spirit
He disappeared from earthly view
And is now seated beside His Father
That dwells in the heart of me and you.
He assured His first disciples
That upon His earthly departure day
He would surely come again
Driving all their sorrows away.
And just as promised on that Day of Pentecost
He came again this time as flames of Spirit Fire
Igniting in them all
A passion for God much higher.
This sacred Spirit Fire has continued to burn
Consuming all our tin and dross
Leaving behind only the purest gold
Through the work of His holy cross.
For he said, "Where I Am there you may be too."
And from His glorified heavenly heights within my spirit new
He extends an INVITATION
So my soul can come there too.
And through their perfect union
My earthly vessel is not left out
But it, too, will display a God renewal
During this last trumpet shout!
Love to all,
Karen
