Why Wait?

Beautiful, Ron:
To know we have RECEIVED a PROMISE that allows us to WAIT?

That this promise is within us....working progressive manifest salvation in us... like a seed that has started to grow?

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL!!!!!

We can only truly WAIT if what we are waiting for has already begun for us. So waiting is NEVER a movement from nothing to something..... it is ALWAYS A MOVEMENT from something to something MORE.....glory to glory MORE....

Makes me think of Joseph...God gave him a word, a dream...he shared it and it made his brothers hate him. They betrayed him and sold him into slavery and it says that he was then brought down into Egypt.

The way up is often down.

How can a glorious word of God given to us, bring us down, down into very dark circumstances at times? The word we have been given is glorious - power, victory, joy and peace, ruling and reigning with Christ and life more abundantly.

It is because we have had such a vision planted in us as you just shared, Ron, that we cannot settle for less.

The word of the Lord tried Joseph. The more circumstances tried to take it away from him, the tighter he held on and all the while his faith and the character qualities that would fit him for the throne was being developed in him.

He not only was brought out victoriously and realized not only his dream, but his ascension to the throne became the salvation to his family and nations. Praise God...this is why we too "wait" as the word of Lord has tried our souls that we too will come forth as pure gold, tried and meet for the master's use.

Love, Karen
