The Testimony of Jesus Is......

First let's establish what I believe would be an incontrovertible truth to most of us and that is that all of the Bible originates from the East; it is all Eastern thought and from some of my gleanings it was also pointed out that the ancient eastern custom was to use language in the most vivid possible way - and that may contribute to the great use of symbolism in the Bible.

****************
Now the words of Jesus still ring true in me where he counseled his disciples, "..that everything which is written concerning me in the Law of Moses and prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.
Then He (thoroughly) opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures.
And said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ, the Messiah, should suffer and on the third day rise from (among) the dead." Luke 24:44,45

Now because of where we are in consciousness, two full days down the line from the first and singular coming of Christ, we know this rising of the Christ is not just in the one man Jesus. The Word teaches us that the "testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." What was Jesus' life prophetically saying? And what was he fulfilling that was written in the law, the prophets and psalms? Whatever it was, it is exactly what is to be fulfilled in us for Christ is corporate: "just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One." 1 Cor.12

Jesus taught us, that it all has to be fulfilled to see the 'rising or raising of Christ' in the third day and we now know the raising of that Christ means all who are part of his Christ Body.
